CAROWINDS: Souvenirs @ Camp Snoopy

 If you're looking for souvenirs, you may want to try the "Camp Store".   This store sells everything "Peanuts".  Watch for sales on shirts, and other merchandise.  A few items really caught my eye.

What's happening at Carowinds in 2018?

Carowinds added six (6) new attractions to Camp Snoopy.

1. Woodstock Whirleybirds
     This is a cute ride, and it resembles bird nests.

 I really like the camp theme.  My favorite item is the fountain when you walk into the area.  It's lit up at night....gorgeous!

PICNIC: What's in Starbucks PB&J Protein Box?

If you need something quick to eat, on-the-go, for a picnic, or any other occasion, pick-up one of Starbucks Protein boxes.

Take a look at their PB&J with fruit & veggies.  It also comes with string cheese, chocolate-covered raisins, and Greek-yogurt ranch dip.

I bought his box when I didn't have time to make lunch.  It was pretty tasty, and I liked the chocolate-covered raisins that were hidden beneath the sandwich.

Go to your local Walmart and look in on the pasta aisle for fun-shaped pasta.

I found Ocean Adventures pasta, and Trains Planes & Automobiles pasta for $1.97.

MOTHER'S DAY: Grandmother's Tea Time Card

Mother's Day is Sunday, May 13, 2018.

Dollar Tree has cute Tea time cards for Grandmother's on Mother's Day.

I found this card at Dollar Tree in Rock Hill, SC (Newport).

My daughter will give this to her grandmother, along with a small gift.

DOLLS: Reborn Doll

My daughter's birthday is Friday.  She has been watching You Tube videos of Reborn dolls.  I had never heard of them, until she mentioned it.  Hard to believe they look so real.  In some of the videos, women are putting the dolls in actual car seats, and taking them to the grocery store. :)

We bought a Reborn doll from Amazon.com.  It arrived nicely packed in a drawstring bag.  The bag contained a doll,  brush, baby bottle, outfit, certificate, magnetic pacifier, outfit (on doll), and headband (on doll).

Walgreens started putting out their Spring decor and Easter goodies!  I absolutely LOVE Spring, and all the holidays (St. Patrick's Day, Easter, Mardi Gras).

I am on the prowl for Easter basket items for my 8 year old daughter.  She was with me on this visit to Walgreens.  One of her favorites was the Peeps 17" Rainbow Bunny @ $9.99 each.  Guess I'll put that on the list.

Valentine's Day will be here in a few weeks.  I've already begun getting cards, and small gifts for people.  Closer to the holiday, cards will be flying off the shelves.

Traditional full English Tea, featuring a generous assortment of delectables including sandwiches, savories, scones, and a variety of sweets.  Tea is held at the historic Armstrong-Mauldin House, and includes servers in Victorian attire and live music.  The Sugar Plum Boutique (Christmas decorations, gifts, and homemade treats) will be open one hour before and after each Tea.
